nanoLC in proteomics

Protein identification and functional analysis require new analytical tools and techniques that offer high throughput and enhanced detection sensitivity for identification of low-abundance proteins. To meet this need, Eksigent developed the NanoLC™ system which incorporates Microfluidic Flow Control™ (MFC) technology to provide enhanced sensitivity with extremely precise gradient control at the 100 to 200 nL/min column flow rates required for nanospray MS, with integral peak parking. Multiplexing the system to allow dual nanoLC columns can increase throughput substantially.

Fully automated chromatography systems, Eksigent’s NanoLC systems deliver the precise nanoscale gradients required for whole-proteome profiling, low-abundance protein identification, and post-translational modification discrimination. Precise flow rate control enables automated peak parking for extended MS/MS analysis of analytes of interest.
