eksigent’s expressLC® features-at-a-glance:

Microscale mixing eliminates delays
ExpressLC systems incorporate a microscale mixer with a volume of 300 nL, resulting in a mixing delay of only 2 seconds at 10 µL/min. This rapid mixing all but eliminates mixing delays found in conventional systems at the start of a method and at re-equilibrations. It also leads to extremely precise gradients, rapid system response, and excellent gradient linearity.

Fewer moving parts
ExpressLC systems are ready to work when you are. Instead of using complicated active flow split systems with reciprocating pumps, ExpressLC systems are designed with few moving parts. And fewer moving parts results in less downtime and maintenance. Enjoy dependable, worry-free microflow HPLC today.

Unparalleled reproducibility
By monitoring flow at the source, our ExpressLC systems offer excellent long-term retention time reproducibility and system stability.

Sensitivity in the femtomole range
With conventional systems, scaling down the UV absorbance detection system to capillary levels can increase dispersion and reduce sensitivity. Eksigent ExpressLC systems achieve low detection limits (DL) using a highly sensitive, non-dispersive microfabricated 45 nL flow cell. This detection system offers a broad linear dynamic range while providing fully dispersed array-based UV detection from 200-380 nm.

A simple interface
Eksigent Control Software is an innovative platform that combines simplicity, flexibility, and reliability with an easy-to-use graphical interface. Control the ExpressLC system and autosampler from your mass spec data system. Rely on internal diagnostics to monitor and alert you to system problems. It’s that simple.

Intelligent innovation
Unconstrained by legacy design considerations, ExpressLC systems incorporate innovative applications of new technologies without trying to trap customers into a closed, proprietary instrument platform.

Positive feedback
At the heart of your ExpressLC system, you'll find Eksigent's direct-pumping Microfluidic Flow Control technology. Instead of using pistons or syringes to regulate flow, MFC uses continuous feedback to an electronically controlled pressure source to maintain precise micro-scale flow rates as low as 1 µL/min without flow splitting.

Mass spec compatibility
Team up your ExpressLC with a mass spectrometer to improve detection sensitivity and data confidence. You can easily interface the ExpressLC system with Thermo Electron’s Xcalibur™, Applied Biosystems/MDS SCIEX Analyst®, and Bruker Daltonics’ HyStar™.

Separation flexibility
Eksigent’s ExpressLC systems are designed to be compatible with commonly available 300 and 500 µm HPLC columns. Compatibility with standard HPLC solvents and consumables gives you the ability to utilize a wide variety of stationary and mobile phase combinations.
